Hiking group in Cappadocia/Ihlara Valley?
Hi,
As I was doing research on the internet I found this great environmentally-conscious hiking group--in the Cappadocia area, I think. Maybe the Ihlara Valley? It was a bunch of University chums, so they were all into the environment, flora and fauna, preserving the earth, and education. (That's how I remember it, anyhow!) It was appealing because they did sort of informal hikes, and it wasn't touristy. AND then, wouldnt you know, I lost the website! It's no longer in my "history"--or at least I can't find it anymore! Does anyone out there know about this group? Heard of anything like it? Thanks. |
No but the Ihlara Valley is beautiful.
AndI'd be surprised if you couldn't find something about a group like this with a little googling, especially since you already saw it on the internet. |
Hi Neopolitan
I've been "googling" like crazy using key words, but no such luck!!! ARgh!!! |
Found it! Apparently, something funky was going on with the website (like they didnt have the money to keep it going) and, as of now, it's back up and running: middleearthtravel.com. So I wasnt losing my marbles after all!

Hi Asa4;
You are brave to use a company who can not efford a website hosting to book your holiday with? your holiday could be in danger. However if you are talking about Middle Earth, you are in safe hands but I just wanted to share my thoughts ;-))for future referance.... Happy hiking, Murat |
Thanks for the warning. I agree, but also liked what Middle Earth had to offer. Also, I know from past experience that the trekking business can be a tough one, so I am willing to make allowances.

I appreciate your way of thinking... say hi to Atil and if you are around take him with for a coffee or a cold beer...I am quite close by :-)
regards, Murat |
