ANy information of day tours to Hever castle from London ?

Ican't imagine there would be a day tour just to Hever.

The way to do it on your own is to take a train to Edenbridge Town and then a cab from there to the castle.

but here is one tour I found by a search (google is your friend) -- would give you very little time at the castle. One of the main attractions is the MASSIVE gardens and they take a lot of time

Unless you have already taken a bunch of other day rips from London I wouldn;t put Hever at the top of the list. Yes, the gardens are gorgeous - depending on what time of year you are going - but the castle itself doesn't really have that much to see versus a lot of other towns or castles.

Hever these days is even more "Disneyfied" than Warwick castle, and the gardens are sadly over-rated in my experience. The hordes of visitors in the summer season are also off-putting, resulting in crowds shuffling through the relatively small "castle" (which is more like a tudor manor house anyway).

I went in September and there were no crowds. If you are interested in the Tudor's it is worth the trip. I really liked it but I went by car.

I loved Hever Castle and the gardens, although I went in the spring.
