.....many, many thanks for all your suggestions, tips, and help as we planned our just ended two week stay in an apartment in Zandvoort . We had a great time in your wonderful country, people were very helpful when help was needed, and having good weather was an added plus. We arrived home Friday with many fond memories.

Did you bring home the paling? Any problems with US Customs?

No, we didn't bring the paling home. We left Zandvoort for Brugges and Brussels on Tuesday and were not flying home until Friday and we thought that would be long with out refrigeration.

We did eat our share of it though. The best and biggest came from Volendam from a little a little shop pictured on the Volendam website.

We did bring cheese back but had no problem with customs with that.
