Hertz location in Rome

Driving from Tuscany into Rome and will check into Westin hotel. Does anyone know what is the closest Hertz location to drop off the car?

Also, does anyone have any experience with a GPS/navigation system with Hertz cars in Italy? Is it worth it?

as far as i know they have only airport locations.
i don't know which brand their navi-systems are i cannot help with that one.
i would definately give it a try if i were not familiar with the destination!

another opportunity would be to take your own gps with you and fix it into the rented car - but you have to upload the european software first!

Hertz has locations in several locations in central Rome. The one nearest you, if the Westin is the Westin Excelsior on Via Veneto, is the one on Viale del Galoppatoio in the Villa Borghese. The location at Termini station is also nearby.

There are several in central Rome. We used one that was right near the US embassy - I think not far from your hotel. But - if you go to the Hertz web site it should have the addresses of all and you can use via michelin to get directions.
