Here's a movie to Netflix if you're interested in Barcelona

My husband found a documentary entitled "Antonio Gaudi" and Netflixed it. We watched it last night. We were expecting a documentary on his life, but instead, the movie was basically 74 minutes of seeing the architecture of Barcelona, with emphasis on Gaudi's work. I doubt that you'll be able to get your kids to sit through it, because there are almost no words, but what they show is very cool if you have an interest in Barcelona.

The very coolest part is that the movie was made in 1984 (so no, they DON'T dress like that in Barcelona these days.) There is footage of Sagrada Familia, of course, and it's pretty amazing to see how much progress has been made in the last 23 years.

Thanks for posting this, missypie. I've just placed it at the top of my list. I'm planning to be in Barcelona in May of 2008, and I'll be on a Gaudi pilgrimage.

Thanks for the info, missypie. We were in Balcelona and enjoyed Gaudi's work very much. I just Blockbustered it.
