It's unfortunate that PLMN (aka Phoebe)didn't post her trip report in its entirety the first time, then it wouldn't have been dragged out for nearly 3 months! I can only imagine it is hard for her to have to keep coming back with installments over this entended period of time, with interruptions from her family life, circumstances, etc.

Thank you Ira. I'm so glad to hear Phoebe is OK but am sorry to hear her life has been so stressful. I hope all will improve shortly.

My Dear Peeky,

>Maybe she didn't want her name exposed. <

I assure you that I did not post until after I had been in contact with PLMN and received her permission.

That is good Ira. I thought you were turning into a nudnick that's all.

Peeky, kindly define "nudnick." That word must not be used in my neck of the woods. Thanks.

Nudnick is yiddish for one who pesters, nudges someone to do something.

In fact nudge is pronounced noodge and means the same.

I thought Ira was pestering PLMN to post on Fodors when she has so many personal things to tend to.

If she doesn't mind, neither do I, so I will quit kvetching.

Thank you, peeky. I will use this word with DH the next time it's appropriate.

P_M, yiddish is so expressive. Nudnick here in the shmata (clothing) business in Los Angeles: nudnik is pronounced like nood nik (rhymes with good).

I looked up a web site for you, PLMN will understand and won't mind this in her thread (I hope).

I have never been an unclothed Santa.

Ira,
Thanks so much for tracking down Phoebe and letting us know she is ok. I was actually quite concerned, having read her husband was having health problems. Great detective work!

Ira - have you been in contact with Phoebe lately? I so enjoyed her trip report, and often wondered how both she and her husband were doing since it's been a while since she wrote.
