Hello anyone have any idea about this visa to enter St.Peterburg for about 2-3days from Helsinki?
I came across if by flight, visa needed but if by cruise, we can get visa free for 72hours.
Any idea how that really works? Links and information on price will be great!

AFAIK, it can't be on a Finnish ship and Russia must be one of several destinations, not the only one. So it's ok on a Swedish cruise visiting several Baltic states as well as St Petersburg, and only if you stick to an organised tour by the cruise liner. If you want to wander off on your own, you need a visa called cruise visa. Otherwise you need a Russian tourist visa in advance from Russian consulate.

I have read the procedure to get a Russian visa is quite complex and time consuming so don't leave it until the last minute. Look up the Russian embassy for details.

I just booked our tickets on the St Pete line from Helsinki to St Petersburg. Leaving Helsinki on Thursday evening, arriving St Petersburg on Fri morning. Departing St Peters Sun night and arriving Helsinki Monday morning. No visa necessary.
