Helsinki - Riga - Stockholm Itinerary

Hello,

I'm planning on taking a solo trip to Helsinki, Riga, and Stockholm in late Oct - early Nov.
I've roughly allocated the days as below - air tickets to Helsinki and out of Stockholm have been purchased already so those dates cannot be changed. However, I have not booked details of my itinerary yet so I would like some input as to how to allocate days between these cities.

Any input would be appreciated!

10/24: 3:20pm Helsinki in
10/25: Helsinki
10/26: Helsinki
10/27: 5:40am Helsinki out, 7:40am Riga in
10/28: 7:00pm Riga out, 7:15pm Stockholm in
10/29: Stockholm
10/30: Stockholm
10/31: Stockholm
11/1: Stockholm
11/2: 5:40pm Stockholm out

Far too little time in Riga, which is much more interesting than Helsinki.

I would have tried to work in a ferry trip somewhere in the itinerary, as the ferry from or to Stockholm from Helsinki or Riga is a nice thing to do as the scenery is lovely when passing through the Stockholm archipelago.

I haven't visited Riga yet, but I think your itinerary will be just a tad rushed whatever you decide. Depending on your interests, Helsinki can easily merit 2 days and Stockholm easily merits at least the 4.5 days you've given it. I think you'll need to decide on what, exactly, you want to see and plot it out on a calendar.

The good news is that you don't have a bad option here!

Agree that Helsinki is kind of boring (very modern, very clean but it just didn't speak to me at all) - I would definitely switch a day to Riga from there.

I have been to all three, and completely agree with others that Riga deserves much more than Helsinki. Depending on what you are doing in Stockholm, I could even subtract a day from there.
