Help with Trip suggestions

Any suggestions for a 4 night stay in Europe, and suggestions for a reasonably priced double room with bath in the town center, for my husband and myself. We like to see interesting/famous attractions. Normally, haven't really rented a car and prefer public transportation. Have gone on introductions to a town on Hop on Hop off buses and don't mind that at all.Have been to London, Paris, Rome, Florence, & Venice. Spring break in April, or summer beginning the end of June through end of August.

Wouldn't you prefer that the bath be in the hotel room with you?

;)

Best wishes,

The only place I know of that meets that description is the ancient Roman town of Bath, where Tellus provided hot and cold running water any time of day (which was unusual in Europe).

Ha! Ha! Ha! Oh, my gosh, you two are so funny! I'm really laughing about this. Guess I should check before I post!

I suggest Prague

Thanks, Dmelo1.

Just wondered if there was a way to correct a post after it was already viewed? I guess I just would have to write a follow up.

Suggest Edinburgh. Much to see in the old town with public transportation or tours and you can take a day trip by train to Stirling to visit Stirling Castle. We stayed at the Waverley HOtel right on Princess Street but don't believe it has AC so it may be hot in the summer months or noisy with windows open. Should be fine in April though.

Another place that fits your requirements would be Vienna. You could easily fill 4 days with all the sights there -- Hofburg Palace, Schoenbrun Palace, museums, churchs, etc. Good public transportation and you could take a day trip to Durnstein and/or Melk Abbey. We usually stay at the Admiral Hotel right behind the Museum Quartier but just a few blocks from the Ubahn and trams. (www.admiral.co.at)

Hi P,

Naples, Prague, Vienna,Budapest, Athens, Positano in Summer.

Of course, a return visit to Paris, Rome or Venice would not be without interest.

Have a nice visit.
