I would like to purchase train tickets for dates through July 5. Does anyone know when those dates will be available on Trenitalia.com? Currently, you can only purchase through June 15.<BR>Thanks!

I was not aware that you can purchase from www.trenitalia.com from outside Europe, no matter what the date - - or are you NOT OUTside Europe?<BR><BR>In any event, I am always skeptical as to the need to buy rail tickets more than a day or two before you actually travel.<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

You can purchase tx from Trenitalia on thei web site - they just won't deliver them to you outside of Europe. They E-mail you a confirmation number that you need in order to retrieve your tx from any of the self-serve machines in the larger Italian train stations. I don't know how far in advance you can buy them though.

If you are one of those people who just feel more comfortable having your seats reserved and tickets in hand, and don't mind paying a fee, you can purchase italian train tickets in advance from CIT Tours in New York.
