Help with Sorrento hotel stay
 

Is there any hotels in Sorrento with a sea view that are a walkable distance to the town center and are 125 euros or less for 2 persons. I know a lot of the hotels have shuttles but is seems like it would really be inconvenient to call for the shuttle everytime you wanted to go into town and then back again.

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Excelsior Vittoria in Sorrento. We went in November so we got a great off season rate, but you can check it out (not sure when you are going).

It has a great sea view and they had a great walk-thru their lemon grove right into town, as we had no car and didn't want to take shuttle.

I checked that hotel, looks beautiful but it was quite expensive. We'll be going in high season.

Check out Settimo Cielo (Seventh Cloud). Fantastic views, 10 minute walk to Piazza Sasso and they will give a 15-20% discount for cash (after you arrive). The cash discount is not publicized.

The Excelsior Vittoria is exactly what you want - but in high season the basic room will probably be 3 times what yuo want to pay. I think that with a limited budget - and wanting a view - a shuttle may be the cost of dong business.
