Help with Rome hotels with baby
I'm choosing between 47 Hotel and Hotel Ponte Sisto. Any recent feedback? I'm also open to other suggestions for a nicer hotels (preferably in a suite) for myself, my pregnant wife and our bouncing 18 month old daughter. We like the mentioned above because they both offers private terraces/balconies and are centrally located near the historic center, and importantly, are "reasonable" in expense (@$700 per night for suite max) Any advice/recos greatly appreciated.

my advice - skip the hotel and rent an apartment - more room and comfort with a fridge. Although if you'll be in Rome for a short time an apartment might be difficult to come by. But I wouldn't consider a hotel with a baby - been there, done that, won't do it again.

I also suggest an apartment in Rome. I stayed for 8 days and was in a very good location...just make sure you get everything in writing...i made the mistake of using www.rentalsinrome.com this past time and it was a nightmare! I was there this past December with a broken window, no heat, our driver was late...and he over charged us (decided they would raise the price on the last day) and when you are already running late for your flight because the driver overslept you really dont have much time to fight with them. stand clear of that rental site!
