Help with Provence and Lyon
We are attending a wedding in Cannes and will be arriving there on June 3 (with a car from Nice) and departing on June 7 around 10-11 am. We spent 10 days in the Canne area 5 years ago. I am struggling on how to plan my days in Provence to be efficient with our time without overextending ourselves. We are open for a day trip from Canne on June 4 to someplace in Provence. I am getting a map tomorrow and that might help! We have 4 nights when we leave Canne leaving June 11.. On our list is Avignon, Pont du Gord, St. Remy and Van Gogh, Arles, Vaison-la Romaine. June 11-14 we will be in Lyon, from there 2 nights in Annecy. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to plan our days for Provence and nights (where to stay). Considering staying at 2 different places or some place central.. Would love to fit a winery in someplace and an ebike ride. Lyon we are open to suggestions but eating and drinking is high on our list! Thanks in advance.

Lovely part of the world!
FWIW, I think the Rough Guide and Michelin Green are the best guidebooks for these areas. Either would likely prove invaluable in helping you figure out what you want to see and do. And you might find some useful in formation in my trip report: https://www.fodors.com/community/eur...rance-1669406/ |
Hiya, I see you posted a very similar thread: https://www.fodors.com/community/eur.../#post17641724 just a few weeks ago. Maybe you can ask the mods to merge your threads? Use the orange triangle.
Most of the responses were asking you questions to better assist you and I have to echo them again. Interests? How you'll be traveling? Where will you by flying into and home from? Etc.... |
