Message: joe19 - went on the Batobus website and they list the hours for Nov and Dec as 10:30a-4:40p. Hope it is running as this seems like a fun way to get around the city.

From someone who loves to shop: where were you planning to shop on Sunday? The large department stores are not open Sundays as they are in Canada and the US, but the boutiques in the Marais were all open as well as some of the stores on the Champs Elysees. Also most of the souvenir shops along the rue de Rivoli were also open on Sundays.

Having a seniors' moment; another idea for gift items..place dela Madeleine...Fauchon (great for coffees, teas, chocolates, biscuits packed in the distinctive black and white striped bags), Maille (all sorts of mustards gift packaged), Galeries Lafayette has a food hall with all kinds of neat things.
