Help with Paris!!
Well, can't wait for my trip, even though it is not till June!! I would love some insider info on the real Paris. I plan on the Louve, Orsey, Picasso Museo, but would like some more advice. What are your special moments, hiden cafes. Any good bars that lots of locals hang out that you liked? When I travel I do the main sites for half a day, then like to blend in and just really enjoy the true everday routines of the city. Any good ideas?? I will be traveling alone, and love the independence of just doing whatever, whenever. Any wierd or wacky things that are offbeat are good as well!! Any locals reading this? Or other visitors that just love Paris? Love to hear your stories and thoughts. Thank you, and can't wait till June!!

Thanks travelnut! It is a wonder how long one can spend covering all the ground on those links you gave me. Before I knew it an hour had passed. Thanks again!

Make an 8PM dinner reservation at Le Vaudeville. By 9PM it's usually packed. Terrific atmosphere and very good meals. I still recall very vividly the first time I dined there alone. Bourse Metro.

I would definitely go to L'Orangerie museum. I just went for the first time in November and thought it was an excellent museum. It is small so it seems very maneagable and the audio guide was interesting and informatvie.
