i havent been on Fodors France forum for several years, but will be in Paris in Nov. and am looking for some old trip reports. What I remember is they were written by a lady named Joan and she went to Paris several times a year. She wrote long reports detailing her visits to restaurants, exhibitions, etc. She had a friend that she referred to as French Girl. Does any of this sound familiar? I would appreciate any help in finding some of these reports as they contained valuable information

Yes, I remember Joan. Not positive, but I think there were some posters that weren’t nice to her - they thought she was too “showy” with the high-end restaurants she wrote about - so she quit posting.
