Help with Ireland Itinerary

Jump to last reply

My husband and I are planning our first Ireland vacation in early May 2016.
I would love advice on our itinerary and to help us determine if we should take 10 or 12 days:
We will fly into and out of Dublin.

Day 1-2: Dublin- 1-1 1/2 days
Day 3-4: Galway- 2 days time exploring the city and including Wild Atlantic Way and Connemara
Day 5-6: Westport- 2 days time exploring the city and including possibly biking Great Western Greenway and traveling around Achill Island
Day 7: See Cliffs of Moher and possibly stay overnight in Limerick
Day 8: drive Ring of Kerry (possibly see Dingle?)
Day 9: Cork (is Blarney Castle and Blarney Stone worth it?)
Day 10: Dublin to fly home

I would love any feedback on our planning. Too much time or not enough? And any recommendations for B&Bs would be much appreciated.
We want to see as much as we can but we also want a nice relaxing vacation as well.

Thanks!!
Jessi
