help with hotels in Bordeaux
 

Need suggestions with hotels in Bordeaux. I tried the Hotel de Plaisance in St. Emilion, but they are booked.

anyone stayed at the Grand Barrail in St Emilion?

<BR><BR>I stayed at the Grand Barrail about three years ago. We were there in September so it was quite busy with the grape harvest, even so, one of the "hosts" took the time to show us about the place and explain what was goin on. It is an active vinyard.<BR><BR>We stayed in the new addition, only a couple of years old at the time. They also have rooms in the original building but we did not visit any of them.<BR><BR>Our room was quite large and well appointed with a private patio outside. Service was excellent and it is a very comfortable place to stay. We used it for a home base for a three day drive-about the area.<BR><BR>Would stay there again.<BR><BR>Hope this is helpfull . . The Grand Barrail is a very nice hotel. It is located in Figeac, a short distance from St. Emillion.

I stayed at Grand Barrail in 9/2000. They gave us one of the original round rooms in main building. Very nice! The hotel is surrounded by vineyards and St.Emillion was only few minutes drive away. The services and accommodations were first rate. Hotel restaurant had one Michelin star at the time. Fine dining it was. Klee
