Help with first time travellers to Iceland!
 

We are plannng a trip to Iceland for the end of August. I know I’m late in planning......I’ve heard accommodations get booked up quickly! I need to create my daily itinerary before I can book where we’ll stay. The information is overwhelming! It all looks amazing! We are travelling with our two teen boys - 12 & 15. The trip musts are horseback riding, snorkelling, glacier walks, hot springs......anything adventure! I have 10 days. My question is if it’s worth it to do the whole Ring Road and the north or just stick to South, southwest and southeast? I was going to go north just to do the whale watching in Husavik but have read some reviews that said not worth it. I would REALLY appreciate any guidance, direction or suggestions! I don’t even know where to begin!
