HELP with completely planning a 2-week trip to Vienna, Prague and ??
 

HI all: I am trying to plan a ground travel trip for two weeks with my youngest daughter (19) in early May. Her preference is Prague, Vienna, and almost anything else. I don't even know where to begin,and don't have the skill or time to plan it myself. So, am seeking an experienced (and patient) agent who can help us map out an entire two weeks of adventure, history, culture, time together, and exploration. I WELCOME all recs... If you're travelling by train, it's easy & practical to add Dresden (2 hours) from Prague and Berlin (2 hours from Dresden). You can comfortably spend 4 nights in Vienna, 3/4 nights in Prague, 3 nights in Dresden, 3/4 nights in Berlin.

you may consider to include some Cez towns and Budapest. Prague (3N)--Cesky Krumlov(1N)--Vienna(4N)--Bratislava(1N)--Budapest(3N)

Your daughter should certainly have the skills to be able to plan this trip.

If she doesn't, she has the whole Summer to learn.

I suggest that you give her a budget and have her sign up here.

You could see Prague, Vienna and Munich or Budapest or Dresden or Krakow....

Since you will be visiting two cities, perhaps you could consider some smaller towns or countryside. Austria is a gorgeous country. Within an hour or so of Vienna is the Wachau Valley, a section of the Danube filled with small villages, wineries and great biking trails.

Salzburg is obviously a great city and from there you could easily visit the nearby Salzkammergut, with its picturesque lakeside villages and amazing scenery. From here you could end your trip in Munich (a short train ride from Salzburg) and fly home from there.

I also agree that Cesky Krumlov, near the Austrian border in Czech, is a great place to visit.
