Help with Colmar on Rhine cruise
 

DH and I will be on a Rhine Christmas Market Cruise in late November. The cruise docks one weekday morning in Breisach Germany where the ship remains until after dinner. We would prefer to skip the included tour to the Black Forest (sounds like a shopping trip) and spend the day in Colmar. The cruise offers a 1/2 day tour to Colmar in the afternoon. It looks like it takes about 30 minutes to drive from Breisach to Colmar; does anyone know if we can take a taxi to Colmar? Are there other options?

I've caught the bus after stepping off the train from Freiburg at the Breisach station. Not sure where the dock is in relation to the station.

With 4 semesters of college German I could muddle through the brochure. I will ask the cruise line if they can tell me where the dock is then I can map it out.

The Colmar bound bus starts from Breisach railway station at 7.56, 8.56, 9.56, 11.56..... and stops at the Rhine Bridge and at Neuf Brisach Tourist Information Office
