Hi nicerue50, I'm renting from rivierapebbles.com, so I can't critique the apartment since I will be in Nice for 1 week the last week in September. I will post when I return. In the meantime, if you want to stay in Nice itself, you may want to take a look at their rentals.
Good luck! jdc |
I have stayed here for 2 weeks
http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk/Fra...-Mer/p8595.htm Nice people, nice place. Private parking. Convenient to everything. You can take the bus from 1 block away if you want. 20 minute ride to old Nice. Enjoy |

We spent a week in Nice last Christmas and really enjoyed it. I found a recommendation on www.slowtrav.com for this apartment rental company -
http://www.nicepebbles.com/ The apartment was terrific, and the company professional. I wrote a report on it, you can find it on the SlowTrav site. It was the Pastorelli apartment, it has a small lift, just big enough for 2 people (elevator). We did quite a few day trips by bus and train. I don't think you need a car in that area. Buses are cheap and frequent. The tourist office in Nice will give you timetables, you just have to specify where you want to go. Just to help re train and busses.
I repeat a post made some months ago. bus : http://www.lignedazur.com/ trains : http://www2.ter-sncf.com/paca/ Also wish to add that if you need an elevator to reach your apt, take into consideration that, in some villages, Eze for example, you could face quite a lot of stairs ! |
