Help!! Which website do you guys use for making reservation on the net...
 

I'm looking for accommodation in Italy and am impressed by the Foderer's recommendation. However, I do have problem finding those recommendations of the hotels on the website that I use. So anyone of you recommend to me any good website for booking a room on the net (it's better that the website is informative enough to give me photos of the hotels). <BR><BR>Thanks.

www.trip.com has a good search engine - it has a proximity search which is really helpful if you know you wnat to stay close to a landmark or the center of town.<BR><BR>also, www.placestostay.com<BR><BR>also, try to find the some tourism sites for the region and there you will find all kinds of recommendations

Rita<BR>Many hotels have their own email and/or websites, and of course most have fax numbers.<BR>I would always compare the rate and info I get from a general website with the info and rates that are quoted directly by the hotel.

I had great luck with venere.com. I recommend it if you can't/don't want to fax overseas. It was very easy and the hotel emailed me back within 24hrs.
