Help : weather in the Netherlands and Belgium next week

Heading to Amsterdam this Friday to join a last minute weeklong canal barge cruise ending up in Brugges. I have checked weather.com, weatherunderground. I am not sure what clothes to pack for this vacation besides a raincoat!!! I need to travel light, carryon bag only. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The pictures under the text: Weersverwachting voor de komende dagen
says it all.
Variable weather expected, some sun, some clouds, some rain, approximately 22C. (72F)
I am going on a bicycle trip Friday - Sunday and should be ideal cycling weather. Rain should only be a short light shower, nothing serious.

Thank you for your reply, Sjoerd. The weather in Amsterdam and Brussels in weather.com didn't look too welcoming. Nice to know there could be sun in between showers.

So far this year we've had one of the best spring and summer weather ever. Even though showers are forecast, it could still be very sunny most of the day. I live in Antwerp, and we just had a big downpour (the first in weeks), but now the kids are swimming outdoors and the sun is shining again. Get one of these raincoats that you can roll up in a small package (brand K-way is good).

Hi Tulips,
That big downpour that you had, well it moved north to The Hague and dumped seriously on us. Much needed. Skies are now 85% blue.
