Help selecting vacation apartment in London

Hi, I'll be in London for 4 days next May with my husband and two adult daughters (both in their 20s). I've been researching online and found 3 places that look promising but I'm not familiar with London so don't know if the locations are good. I'm looking for an area that is convenient to major sites, good access to the Underground, nearby shops and pubs. Since I expect my daughters will go out on their own in the evenings, I want the location to be safe. I'd love to get some input from London experts on the location of the apartments I've been looking at -- all three are with Air BnB.

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can provide!

See if you can get the post codes. The first two look pretty central, the third is south of the river which tends to have worse transport links, but the circles are too big to be useful.

The airbnb circles are almost universally useless.

So, yes, get the post codes. The first one will be quite centra but could be in the City which will be pretty dead in the evenings/weekends. The second one will be quite central and convenient pretty much anywhere in the circle. The third one could be REALLY far south or could be not too far south of the river.

Thank you, I'll see if I can get the post codes!

Thanks for the reply. Seems like the third one is likely the worst location. I'll check back once I get post codes!

The one on the top, doesn't have any reviews after February 2018. That is a red flag for me. It looks like the guy has a lot of apartments on airbnb. If the apartment is booked all the time, why no reviews? Not location oriented but I would steer clear.

One bad thing about AirBnB is, if you leave a bad review, the owner can do the same about you. I think it keeps a lot of people from leaving reviews.

Good point, railtogrl. I hadn't thought about the timing of the reviews because most of them were so positive. I'll keep that in mind as I keep looking.
Thanks!

I noticed they do not say how many minutes walk it is to Borough Station (for the third one). That suggests to me it might be significant. They do say there's a bus stop right there. If they don't want to tell you anything specific, you can ask how many meters it is from (for example) the Tate, Southwark Cathedral, the nearest Tube stop, etc.

Oops, I read the reviews of the third one, and I am wrong. The latest review says it is right by Borough Station. In that case, I'd be fine with the location. I would check how close this is to all the South Bank theatres, which I love.
