Normally in June there would never be a problem with the water levels. The problem is that the river levels across Europe are where they normally would have been around April. This sort of situation hasn't happened at this time of year for about 30 years, at least on the Rhine.

Well we at least now can say we were on the "cruise" with the worst water levels on thr Rhine in 30yrs! What were the odds.. We are supposed to get refunded for the days we had left on the cruise. Lets see how hard that will be. We are settled in at Brussels and are much happier than 4-6hr bus rides for a one hour tour. Walked around Grand Place, stopped for a beer, lovely dinner outside at La Villette. Heading to Bruges for a day trip in the morning. We will enjoy the rest of the trip and deal with the refund when we get back. Thanks for the help
