HELP - Purchasing TGV tickets online
I am trying to purchase our TGV tickets online for our trip to France next week. I am stuck in the screen that asks for personal information. Underneath email address it asks "to be translated" and i have entered "english" "yes" "french/english" "oui" "non" etc., anything to get the process to move into the confirmation screen, but the website will not allow me. It just keeps prompting me to enter the correct answer in that box. WHAT THE HECK DOES IT WANT ME TO WRITE IN THAT BOX? Help, please. We're desperate.

Mind helping us with a URL?
From whence are you departing? Where are you going? ((I)) |
I really don't know what you are doing as I've never seen such a notice on the SNCF web site when buying tickets.
It doesn't make any sense to translate an email address, though. It's hard to tell as you haven't given any details as to what you are doing -- what language you are using the website on, whether you said you were in France and will pick up tickets, etc. However, generally in the SNCF form to purchase tickets online, you enter your email address and then underneath is a box where you re-enter it in order to confirm it is typed correctly. Many websites are like that for email addresses. If you are using the website in English, perhaps they translated "confirmez votre e-mail" incorrectly. Just type in your email address again. |
You have to re-key your e-mail address. That's what I did yesterday

Thanks a bunch for the tip -- I was just as frustrated trying to figure out "to be translated" when making a TGV reservation --- I just had to retype my email
