Help Please London Transit
 

I would like to be able to make use of the days out 2 for 1 offers and I can't figure out if my Gatwick Express one way ticket will work if the train date is not the same day as sightseeing in London (or if it will work at all)
As an alternative, will a one day paper travelcard work to use with the 2 for 1 offers?

I don't know about the Express ticket, but the one day paper travelcard will work. I used that in March to get a 2 for 1 at the Tower of London.

I've been there about 6-7 times over the years. Every time I take someone with me who's never been to London, it's Number One on their list of places to see. I always enjoy going, so it's not a hardship for me. :)

No - your GEX one-way ticket will not be valid for 2-for-1 if you're not visiting the same day as the ticket. If you have a r/t GEX, my understanding is that will be valid for the duration. Otherwise, the paper travelcard will work.
