There isn't a reason to go over that bridge. It connects Honfleur to Le Havre.

The Pont du Normandie begins and ends in France; I don't understand the question.

We are going from Calias to Livarot, in Southern Normandy and want to avoid that bridge

You mean Calais, I think . You don't have to cross that bridge to get to Livarot

On the route we followed last year we did can you tell me which way we go then?

If you Google map Calais and ask for the route to Livarot, you will be taken via Rouen and definitely not over the Pont de Normandie.

Follow the A16 and A28 through Rouen, not Le Havre.
