I had a slightly different take on the parador (and I don't think the sheets are linen today), but loved the cathedral and San Isadoro.

that's a shame, thursdaysd - things have obviously gone downhill in the last 30 years.i remember the food as being pretty good, and we were so impressed with those linen sheets we bought some ourselves!

We did however miss out on San Isadoro - perhaps we'll go back one day and see it.

So would I be correct in saying that you guys prefer Leon to Zaragoza? Both seem like great places so it's very hard for me to decide!
