Help Paris Hotel for Parents

I have to book a hotel for my elderly parents for the end of sept. They are doing an escorted tour to the south of france for 9days then want to spend 5nights in Paris. They are elderly but robust, however not experienced travellers, likely to get easily confused and need a hotel with a decent size room - not ultra tiny. Both speak a little french and keen to soak up the culture and do a little sightseeing. Not sure what area is best, but somewhere flat - unlike montmarte. 3-4 star type quality. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We always stay at the Hotel Bonaparte, 61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 131E dbl w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops and 4 bus routes. Has AC and an elevator.

The staff speak English, are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.

You might also look at the Madison, the D'Aubusson; I like the Victoria Palace a lot but not the immediate surroundings.

The Millesime or the D'Angleterre on rue Jacob are near many cafes and the metro there is also good bus transport a block or 2 away.

What attraction in Paris are they most interested in seeing? The Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, etc? Maybe they want a view of something special from their hotel room?

I wanted an Eiffel Tower view, and chose the Hotel de la Bourdonnais, in the 7th, which had a room with two tiny balconies and a full on view of the Tower. It's on a nice tree-lined boulevard, in a quiet upscale neighborhood across from the Champs de Mars. It has a lift and A/C.

I suggest the Walt, a ****, near the metro, taxi stand and several bus lines. Many cafes and fine restaurants a short walk away. Top floors offer a view of the Tour Eiffel. This part of the 7th will be a good fit, in every way.

Be advised that hotels fill quickly far in advance for the month of September. Recommend finding something quickly with availability, then keep looking if you like.

You might also consider the Abbatial on St. Germain. Near metro and cab stand. Lots of cafes, etc. , a block from the Ile de la Citie...
Lift, English-speaking staff, a/c, little fridges in the rooms...

I would check the Brighton for them..a Tuileries view...Room 314, I think is one that I previewed...all of Paris out the front window..beautiful..very large room and huge bath with both a tub and separate shower stall.
