Help! Paris and Madrid Sightseeing Buses

Hi!
I'm going to Paris and Madrid for the first time on my way to Malaga and I'm just going to be staying overnight in both cities. What are the best companies offering sightseeing hop on/hop off buses in those cities? Is it a better option to buy the tkts on line rather than on the bus?
Thanks to all!! :)

to me all the various type tours i've seen in various cities are clones of each other - especially ones with recorded commentary.

Just buy ticket at bus - i can't think of any reason to buy online - i believe price is same?

The two for Paris would be Cityrama and Parisvision for guided tours. There is also Paris L'Open Tour (hop on hop off).

Also Le Car Rouge. We found the bus dealing with traffic tiring. Had much more fun using the Batobus.

Madrid vision, the open-top bus that has two routes, is a good basic intro to the city. Good views all around town, headphones for recored narration in your choice of about 5 languages.

No need to purchse in advance, but you might save a few bucks by doing so.
