Help on travel site

I created a non-commercial homepage for my travel photos. I have sections on Greece, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Morocco, Japan, China, Sri Lanka, Maldives, South Africa. I also included a lot of useful links on those countries. They should be very helpful to anyone going to those countries listed above. I also have a section on famous travel quotes by famous people such as Maya Angelou, Che Guevara, Robert Louis Stevenson, etc. Please check it out and send any suggestions for any improvement.
http://www.hkstar.com/~boston
Is the site still live? The URL doesn't seem to get me anywhere.

Ditto.

It works for me. It gets great information. Keep it up!!!!

I gave it another go today and it worked. Yesterday, it defaulted to your web server (!?)...

Excellent site. The pictures are incredibly beautiful. Agree with your impression of El Alcazar in Segovia; had an "Arabian Nights" thing going; I loved it!. Very interesting travel notes; definitely a great effort!! Thanks for posting the address.

Lincoln:

Great website!!!

I haven't yet had a chance to look at the whole thing, but what I've seen is very well done.

Looking forward to seeing more!!
Lincoln, I enjoyed looking at your web site. It is well organized and easy to use, and the photography is good. I particularly like the way you use light and color, and how you incorporate the local population into the photos. Some of my favorites are the doves in Spain, the Maldives, and the dented police car in New York City. I always like it too when someone is not afraid to give an honest opinion about something (for example, your views on Venice and David) - if I saw the same places and things I might have a completely different opinion, but it is good to hear both sides. If you have enough photos, it would seem that you could create separate pages for the different parts of Italy as you did for South Africa.

I like the photos on your opening page as they are very representative of the countries they cover.

Interesting - your information about hippos. Just before I arrived in Tanzania, a traveller was killed, not by a lion, a rhino or a herd of buffalo but, you guessed it, a hippo.

Thanks for the links to the CIA World Fact Book and the Web of Culture.

Now I want to go to the Maldives.

PS
But how was the warthog?
Thanks for all your replies.... I am shock to learn so many people are interested on my site. I just want to respond to some of your questions.

Hi Dan , most of my "Italy" photos did not turn out nice. I know I will return to Italy someday.... I will do a separate section sooner or later.

Hi April, You should go.... Maldives is a paradise on earth. I wish that I've never been there. Now, I can't go anywhere without making a comparsion. :) The warthogs taste liked bad beef.
Funny - I thought warthog would taste like pork! It was rumoured that we were eating zebra somewhere along the way. Whatever it was, I think it also tasted like bad (or tasteless) beef.

Just out of curiousity, from where did you fly to the Maldives and what route did you take? What airline?
I couldn't get in the other day, but having tried again; success!

It's a tremendous web site. Congratulations.

April,
I lived in Hong kong. So I flew in from HK to Colombo, sri Lanka on Cathay Pacific and took another flight to Maldives with Air Lanka. The Cathay flight arrived late at night. We stayed a night at sri Lanka, but I think you can catch a connection if you want to. I) think you can take direct flight to Maldives from Europe(Germany?) with Lufthansa.

Hi Lincoln, I stopped by your web page and really like it! My travel page (http://sites.netscape.net/monicapileggi/homepage) seems to take a while to load the photographs. Take a look!

Lincoln,
Your website is very nice and you obviously spent a lot of time carefully crafting it.

I have to correct you on one thing: Morocco is not in the Middle East. It is in Africa.

Honestly, I also take issue with your assessment of Johannesburg. I think you hooked up with the wrong people while you were there. I'm surprised to hear you say that you were afraid to go into the city but you walked about Yeoville. Of all the outlying areas, Yeoville is probably one of the worst ones. Too bad you didn't visit Rosebank, Sandton, Melville or Houghton. I am glad, however, that you experienced Soweto. It is unforgettable.

Nonetheless, keep up the good work. Your website actually makes me realize that I need to create my own. Thanks for the inspiration.
