Help on B&B

Has anyone been to Villa Arianna in Taormina? Couldn't find any reviews and it supposedly has been recently renovated. They give the location as on Taormina sea, at the bay of Mazzaaro near a cable car. Please let me know if you know this B&B or the location. Is it easily accessible to town and restaurants? Thanks

I have not heard reviews from people who have stayed there yet. Villa Arianna is fairly new I believe. I have heard good things in passing. The piazza at Mazzaro is where the funivia is, so it's very easy to get up to Taormina. The views from all the hotels on Via Nazionale are beautiful. Beach is nice (pebble). Via Nazionale is very busy so the only problem would be traffic noise, watching the vespas speed by from you balcony is amazing. I assume Arianna has sound proof windows and shutters, you might check with them.
There can also be a number of tour buses around the piazza. Check the timetable for the funivia for the last ride down in the evening. You might need a cab if you want to stay late up in town.

It is on the beach and not in the main town, which is high above on the cliff.
The cable car takes you into town but does not always run on schedule.

Thank you TravMimi and bobthenavigator. You answered my questions. The rooms looked charming but the location doesn't sound great. I'll keep looking.

I loved Villa Arianna. Is an excellent accomodation very well sited overlooking the cove, with a 180-degree view of Taormina's most beautiful beach. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated with such amazing attention to detail. A pleasure to stay in. The breakfast was absolutely fantasic and totally memorable as it was so fresh and a real delight to have it served for you on your quiete balcony overlooking a simply stunning view of the beach and rocks below. It was just steps away from the cableway (funivia) that zooms you up to the center of the old town in about two minutes!!
Beaches minutes away. We hope to return and will recommend Villa Arianna to all and our friends and family. it's what you see on their website! www.villariannataormina.it
It's incredible! Definitely recommend Villa Arianna Taormina
Everything beyond reproach.10 out of 10.Wished I had booked another two weeks !!!!!!
Greetings
John
