Help! Need quick advice on a weekend in May!
 

I'm meeting three longtime friends in London in less than two weeks. We'll stay there a couple of weekdays and then have a weekend available to take a quick trip. It seems like the guys want to visit another city. I need advice on where to go on May 17-19. Any ideas? We're all mid-40s men, the families are back home and our budgets are on the low side. I'm anxious to hear from this well traveled group! Thanks.<BR>

Oops! Just found my previous post and replies from last night on this question. If anyone has additional thoughts on this, they are appreciated.

I'm not sure if you are planning on leaving England or not. The Eurostar to Paris takes about 3 hrs and Paris is a wonderful weekend getaway. Or you could fly to Edinburgh, I've never been there, but hear it is amazing. Or within England, perhaps go to Bath for a day or two.
