Help! Need private Guide for a day/Santorini
 

Can anyone recommend a private guide in Santorini? Arriving with a cruise ship, we only have a short time to enjoy Santorini. (from 7-5pm)

Apparently plenty of folks await the ships to take folks around the island. The terrain limits how far you can go by car, though, so much of it ends up a walking tour. We are doing the same research-will be there for one day with a cruise ship in June.

One person in our party of six is 84 years old. She can walk very well but we do not want to push it. We are trying to get to Oia with minimal uphill walking. I need someone to help us get up to Oia, if possible.

I neglected to mention that we would feel safer with a guide, not a taxi service, that does not leave us. Maybe we don't need any guidance in Oia...we just need to know that our ride back to the ship will be a sure thing.
