HELP! Need B&B or hotel help due to August bank holidy!

Hi everyone!
I have seen excellent advice on this website. Perhaps you can help me. Our family will be in Donegal for a wedding in late July. Wanted to show children other areas of Ireland including family areas in Cork before leaving.
Originally wanted to do 1 night Galway, Killarney, Kinsale, and Cashel. I'm set for Kinsale and Cashel thanks to your suggestions but July 30/31 has Galway races, etc. and Killarney is very booked too.
Can anyone suggest alternate 2 night stays between Donegal & Kinsale still staying close to the coast. We are 4 adults and 8 children.
Thanks!
Eileen

Instead of Galway, you could head a bit further south. Look at Kinvara or Ballyvaughan...or some of the west Clare towns like Doolin or Lahinch. And instead of Killarney, you might consider Kenmare.

Thanks Mary! Sent out emails to some places from travel books but does anyone have specific B&B or (not too expensive) hotel suggestions? Thanks!

I like Fallon's B&B in Kinvara and Daly's House in Doolin. They're not elegant or luxurious, but clean and comfortable with really wonderful hosts.

eileen6, County Clare has a lot to offer. I stayed at Drumcreehy House in Ballyvaughan and loved it. It might be a bit over your budget because it is a guest house. O'Connor's Farmhouse in Doolin was very nice. I was in the new wing with a huge room and big bath. The rooms will probably accommodate several people so may be an option for you. Prices were good too. If you can't get any place on the coast because of the holiday you should try some place like Bunratty. There are a lot of good B&Bs there and you could do day trips to the coast easily from Bunratty. I like Bunratty Lodge or the B&B right next door Headley Court. On a bank holiday you have to think of other options when the popular places are already booked.
