Help, my messages are missing?

I have posted in the last month 2 messages,
one about a day trip to Bath & Stonehenge (there was some good info and I did not get to print it out), and the other on Rain Coats,
Why would I not be able to find these threads, but my other threads are there?
I have tried to search by my email name, by the title and search words, they do not appear.

Posting and replying on this site like others is hit or miss at best.Unfortunately its a take it or leave situation.I have looked the very next day for threads and they are whoooosh....gone with the wind.

This site doesn't archive posts often, and that seems to be required for a thread to show in a search. Your posts are probably still here but way down south.

Sandy -

Is your post titled "London/Paris metro/museum???'s answered" which was posted on 3/30/02?

Fodor's indexing for text searches is spotty. Searches by country keyword are very good however, so it would be worthwhile to search on the UK (IF you chose it as a keyword when you originally posted) and scan through the results of that search.

To clarify the above post: I'm recommending that you do not use the "search" box at all, just scroll down in the "Subject search" list to the right of it, and choose UK.

I went back to the date I posted the message and it is not there, I posted the message around December 16, 2002.
And yes I have already tried the search
using UK in the subject search. Thanks for all that replied, I will keep looking, but I am afraid it vanished !!!

To Jen, Thank you for finding the post.
After I came back from lunch and posted on this message, I started searching again and found the thread about 1/2 down. Thanks to all for your suggestions. Sandy
