Help Me WIth Last Minute Italy Plans

After much indecision about where to go in Europe NEXT WEEK, we're off to Barcelona and the Costa Brava for ten days. I'll like to round things out with the final five nights in Italy.
I work in the travel industry, so the last miute trip isn't a real issue with the flights. I planned the return from Milan as it's easy to fly from.
Now- where do I go? Last year we went to Venice, Verona, Positano and Capri. I'm tempted to return to Capri, but open to new ideas. Good food is a must.
TIA

Hi W,

Florence and Tuscany; Orvieto and Umbria, the Dolomites.

Thanks, Ira.
I must be the only person not terribly fond of Tuscany, although Orvieto in Umbria is a beautiful town!
Is Bolonga worth a visit?

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the lake towns, as they're beautiful and may be a bit cooler than places further south. We've really enjoyed Stresa on Lake Maggiore and Bellagio and Varenna on Lake Como. Stresa is about a half hour train ride from Milan, and Bellagio about an hour. Good luck!

The Cinque Terre area is lovely and quite relaxing, a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities, museums, etc - we enjoyed it there for 3 days a couple of weeks ago, breathtaking views and wonderful little hikes.
