Help me walk my way out CDG terminal 2e please...
 

Hi everyone!

So i will be going to france for the first time this coming April and i will arrive at CDG terminal 2E, im a little nervous i might get lost inside and make my husband wait for a longtime outside for me.. Can anyone please direct me how i will make my way out from The time I get out the plane to the arriving area? Please please... I dont speak french.. Thank you in advance!

I don't understand the question. You get off the plane, follow this and that route to immigration, show your passport, breeze by Customs, go to the luggage carrousel if you checked luggage, then go outside into the main terminal. Where is your husband going to be?

This isn't rocket science. It's an airport, like any other. You pick a place to meet and do that.

Is this your first time in an airport? If so you should have said that.

You don't need to speak French as English is the lingua franca in Europe; all signs will be in French and English (except universal words such as taxi).

When you get off the plane you follow everyone else who is getting off the plane and doing the same thing you'll be doing.

You will go through passport control (you haven't told us your nationality so I have no idea what line you go through but it's either EU or non-EU). If you look perplexed someone will direct you.

Follow signs to baggage carousel.

Follow exit signs. There's only 1 way out.

There is airport personnel all over the place. If you have any problems just go up to someone in a uniform and ask.

You also haven't said where your husband is meeting you so that's all the info anyone can give you.

You husband may wait a long time for you but there's nothing you can do about that.

Get a guide book and read the introductory sections which are highly informative.

Believe me... you cannot possibly get lost as you're locked in until you exit the baggage area. You cannot go wrong.

Do not leave w/o your luggage because you can't go back.

Although you're not going to take the train, I thought the photos could help a lot - they certainly helped me! Thanks to the guide, I immediately knew what to look for and where to go when I landed.

My husband will be outside waiting for me. Not my first time be in an airport but its a huge airport so i get scared i might be lost :))

Just don't ask any questions of the men with machine guns! Best to leave them alone.

This is the only real issue. WHERE will your husband be waiting outside? The terminal is huge. Will he be waiting for you outside if it is pouring rain?

The two of you need to look at a map of the airport and find a place that you can both absolutely positively find where you can meet. He can't, for example sit in a car at the curb waiting for you (but he couldn't do this in the US).

Maybe someone will suggest a good meeting place outside of security where you can infallibly find each other.

After you go through passport control, pick up your bags and go through customs, you'll enter the non-secure area.
