Help me narrow down btw a few Paris hotels

Thank you for prior advice and recommendations. I am now choosing from among the following hotels (all have availablility during my trip):

I hit enter too early -- please let me know which you would choose based on its location, rooms, cleanliness, etc.

I will be staying there with my boyfriend and we are both in our early 20's.

Caron de Beaumarchais has the best location.

My recommendation, as usual, is to see if any of these have been reviewed at www.tripadvisor.com

Please tell the OP what that "best location" really means: close to major sites? the Metro? far from Rue Cler (LOL)?

oh i have already reviewed over and over, that is how i narrowed down my list (as well as from a few recommendations on here)

Now I just am hoping some people can assist me with finding the best out of the group. For example, in a previous post I read that the Caron de Beaumarchais is on a busy street corner where noise might be an issue

Have a look at the Hotel Jeanne d'Arc in the Marais...kinda funky, but nice, great location, reasonable, nice staff.
There are reviews on the slow travel message board.

Well...yes! It meets the three criteria you listed but also has most things one would need (food stores, cafes, bars, etc.) all within a few blocks.

The Caron de Beaumarchais is a bit more expensive than the others but seems like it might be worth it?

i stayed at the caron de b. a few years ago. it is near the corner of rue de rivoli, but noise was never a problem. we were there in the spring, and slept w/ the windows closed and the a/c on, which provided some white noise, yet didn't freeze us. we had a lovely, though small, room in the front on the top floor with a balcony. they have smaller, darker rooms on the back which might be more quiet, but it just wasn't an issue for us.

it's a great neighborhood and super convenient for getting to everything!

I have already been to Paris but only for a weekend so I am really excited to go back. Plus it's my boyfriend's first time

any other opinions? I would really appreciate it.

My parents have stayed in the Hotel Ecole Centrale, while I was staying at my friend's place 1 street away. I don't think it has the best location, but my parents were pleased with the room. Their room was not very big (but is any room in Paris?) and the elevator is tiny, but it's all clean and well kept. The staff was also very nice and I liked the breakfast, so overall I would recommend it.

I booked my parents for one night at Hotel Therese. Have you checked that one as well? It looks lovely!

We like the Hotel Andrea Rivoli For its location. The rooms are small but the hotel is so centrally located that we really like staying there. It was renovated withing the past few years, it is clean, has a small elevator. Great location four blocks from Notre Dame, 1 block from the Pompideu, 1 block from Hotel de Ville, 6-7 from the Louvre.
