There are some serious assumptions behind everyone's responses. I think we need to start at the very beginning.

NEEDSHELP: Look in the mirror. Do you see arms and legs and a generally humanoid body configuration, without fur? If no, if you have fur, walk on all fours (or twos or eights or . . . ), then you need not worry about clothes.

However, if you appear to be in human, skin-covered but otherwise unclad form, the next question is whether you were naked when you went to bed. If no, then look around in the bed, you may find clothes that fit you exactly. If yes, then look in the bed to see if anyone else is there with you. If no, then perhaps you do need clothes. If yes, then go back to bed.

Danna sees the forming of another club here.
Can I join?
I once had to capture and take outside a very lively chipmunk our cat brought in, wearing only a pair of leather woodstove/ fireplace gloves.
(My kids thought it hysterical)

Dear needshelp,
More info is definitely needed on the shape and size of your body, as we wouldn't want to recommend an outfit not becoming to your figure. Also, the neighborhood you live in... do you want to blend in or stand out and also the geography of where the garbage can is located and the route that you will be taking the dog on, is it uneven terrain or paved, and do we need to consider foot wear as well? And probably the most important question of all..does it matter to you what other people think of you and your selection of clothing as you dump your garbage? It may be that no one is looking and you could just make a mad dash and go as you are. It could be that all of this advice is now irrelevant as the day has now advanced into evening and hopefully you have gotten enough suggestions to have made a decision. You be sure and let us know what you finally decided on.

In the future, you should try doing a text search on "naked" for what to wear or not to wear. We are very busy people on this fodors forum and we can only allot so much time to such frivolous questions. Be sure to check in on my web site for future suggestions at www.fashion-in-the-buff.com

My sister-in-law's cousin's aunt is really ticked off at us for getting her hopes up on the embrodiry(sp, pay attention!) job last time. We will definitely have to find someone else for the monograms! But, they sure would have been great to take out the garbage....especially if we had a satin(Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh) lining.

Rusty! Hold That Relative's Contract. Have you noticed there are 5+ clubs developing... maybe alliances aren't the way to go... maybe we should just sell jackets to each club, and then we can slip them on and off... blending in. The troll clubs with th like or dislike and under the bridge vs. fishing venues will be intersting to embroider.

I'd like to thank you all for taking the time out of your busy lives to help this poor unfortunate soul (Me)! My naked body thanks you for all the tips!
I will be back with more questions of great importance tomorrow. Have a good night all and keep on smiling!

Good Morning Needshelp,
How are you doing today? Do you need any suggestions on what to wear? If so, let us know what your plans for the day are.

P.S. For the people interested in getting monogrammed jackets. I would be willing to monogram the jackets for $53.98 US or $87.95 Euros per letter. I have stencils and a permanent marker that will do a fine job.

Rex, it looks like you've got some real fans out there. If I were you I would stop any kind of self promotion whether its a benefit to you financially or not. I would also stop posting your real e-mail address since there seem to be some real sickies out there who might like to harras you further. You can't be to careful you know, I know from what I speak, a couple of weeks ago I got a nasty virus from a fellow fodorite (Thanks guy!) And I only try to respond with helpful answers and sometimes amusing questions, so you just never know who is out there reading our postings. Apparently freaks of the world are everywhere!

Have you joined a nunnery? Did you find that the easiest choice is to wear a habit everyday? I say, that is one way to earn some respect around here.

You know, this was funny for the first several postings, and then all of the unfunny people chimed in. Nothing like beating a dead horse.

Speak for yourself, Hey, I'm still ROFL! Some of those people really needed that pin in their overinflated egos. Ever notice that those who can dish it out can't seem to take it?

Hey, Hey,

If it is so easy to be amusing, show us how it is done? Anyone can be a critic.

needshelp,

Are you dressing for an extended stay in one location (highly recommended) or will you be trying to cram a lot of cities/attractions into a short stay? Also, what do you like? Dockers? Corduroy? Knits? I need a little bit more information before I can help you.

If in doubt, borrow Toni Braxton's dress from the Grammy's.

You'll be neither dressed nor undressed.
