Help me get from Normandy to Nice
 

How would you travel from the Normandy area (probably staying in Bayeux) to Nice? Three of us - mother, 17 and 12 year old sons.

What's the cheapest? What's the quickest? What's the most practical? What other factors can you think of?

Train back to Paris. Then Paris to Nice. Certainly quickest, probably most practical, probably even cheapest.

How about "how much time do you have"? If you're short of time, take the train back to Paris, take a cab to the Orly airport, and fly to Nice. Going from Paris to Nice takes about 6-1/2 hours, while flying takes 1-1/2.

Check for advance fares on Air France; sometimes there are good specials.
