Capo: Can't you make it 7 letters? Or an island of a European country? Would "madeira" work?

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:21 PM

Hmmm....Manhattan is longer than 5 words, it's not a country, and it's not even close to Europe, lol. But it did come to mind!

wren Jul 26th, 2003 03:26 PM

You on the mend, BR?

wren Jul 26th, 2003 03:27 PM

Scotch..too long...not the name of a country

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:28 PM

Thanks for asking. Fever is gone, but the all-over-aches and sore throat remain. Getting better though!

wren Jul 26th, 2003 03:32 PM

Good, now get to work helping us solve this last clue!!

wren Jul 26th, 2003 03:33 PM

That didn't sound very sympathetic :)

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:35 PM

I must admit, capo's got my few remaining little gray cells working hard.

dln Jul 26th, 2003 03:35 PM

Ladies, maybe Capo wantsa Malta?

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:36 PM

I'd like a chocolate Malta, please! Sounds like a good guess to me, dln. Whatcha say, Capo?

wren Jul 26th, 2003 03:38 PM

Great minds...

dln Jul 26th, 2003 03:39 PM

BR, you are getting better if you're thinking about manhattans and malts!

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:42 PM

Who, me? ((6)) O:)

capo Jul 26th, 2003 03:51 PM

Ah, very good, dln! Would you like some fries with that? :)

wren Jul 26th, 2003 03:53 PM

Supersize it!!

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:55 PM

We can easily build capo's Malta onto wren's Lavender using the A....

So now, dln, build on Malta. And hey, of you don't have chocolate, I like vanilla too! (Onion rings instead of fries, though) :)

dln Jul 26th, 2003 03:56 PM

And lots of catsup, too, this is Europe we're talking about!

BrimhamRocks Jul 26th, 2003 03:56 PM

Or the L, for that matter, oops!

dln Jul 26th, 2003 04:01 PM

Here goes: using the T of Malta, a particular kind of floor found in Italy. Hint--uses two of the same letter, at the far end of the alphabet. This one is gift, it's so easy!

wren Jul 26th, 2003 04:03 PM

Terrazzo?
