Help me decide on which hotel ??
 

I am taking my 16 yr old daughter for her birthday... and have to make a choice between 3 hotels..... The Lancaster, Hotel Francois I or The Bristol.... I do want this to be a very special trip any additional "must do's" would be greatly appreciated..

I happen to know a Hotel Lancaster in London and a hotel Bristol in Cardiff. Hotel Francois sounds French. Mind telling us what city you are talking about?

All your options are on right bank of Seine, more or less around Champs D'Elsee. I have friends who are able to stay in the best hotels everywhere they go, and while they have not stayed at the Lancaster, they feel the Bristol is their favorite grand hotel in Paris.

For very special nights when money is no object, these are my picks<BR>Jules Verne, at the top of the Eiffel Tower, reserve months in advance (good if not perfect, food, but you'll never forget your evening there)<BR>Taillevent (perfect food and beautiful decor)<BR>Le Grand Vefour (perfect food and gorgeous decor)<BR>Les Ambassadeurs in the Crillon Hotel<BR>(chandeliers and gold everywhere)<BR>Ledoyen (on the Champs Elysees, I think they may have recently gotten another Michelin star, but in any case it has wonderful food and stunning decor)<BR><BR>My second-tier favorite is Le Violon d'Ingres. Dressy, but business dressy, not as dressy as the above.<BR>Inventive and yet comforting food, with service that is a great mix of<BR>friendliness and professionalism.<BR>Dine at 8:30 or later to mingle with more French than Americans.<BR><BR>
