Jim- that did it! Since my previous search of,"Ste. Chapelle" (or with the word,"concert" added), did not search at all, I appreciate your, "concerts". Found website and for anyone who needs concert listings, it is:
www.ampconcerts.com/english/date-tous.htm

Listing was last updated end of July and for August there are two dates, 10th and 24th for concertsand I won't be in Paris on these dates. Hopefully there will be a fresher update when I arrive showing more listings for Ste. Chapelle. Thanks, Jim!

The website address was most welcome. I just sent in for two tickets to a concert in September. The schedule seems posted through the 21st of the month. Some great music is on the schedule, with some "double headers", one concert immediately following another.
The web site you have listed for Ste. Chapelle concerts is wonderful. We'll be in Paris in October so I'll have to wait awhile for that schedule. My question is - do they really hold the tickets for you - based on your reply to that site - until a half hour before performance? Can you pick up tickets earlier if you are already in town? Thanks so much for all your help!

I cannot really answer the holding question where tickets are concerned, but an electronic reply to my email request came quickly. The message is sort of cute: it said that
you have until 30 minutes before the preformance to take off your ticket.
Hey: their English is better than my French. At any rate the message is quite clear in meaning and the stated policy is 30 minutes. I would not cut it that close however. I would show up about an hour before the stated time and wait around if needed.
Here is a cut and paste from the Sainte Chapelle concert reservation page.
English and French.

The day of the concert, you'll have to come 30 minutes before the beginning of the concert to pay and take off your tickets

Afin de retirer vos tickets, merci de bien vouloir vous présenter au guichet, 30 minutes avant le début du concert.

I have never been there, so I don't know any more than what this says.
Thanks for the mem'ry! We were transported, last year, as we sat and listened to Vivaldi in the incomparable setting of St. Chapelle. And we wound up there by chance - after noting a poster plastered up in the city someplace. It was, in a way, the most adventurous thing we did -- calling and ordering tickets with next-to-no French-speaking ability. But oh, so worth it!

I would like to update my postings on this thread. Just before leaving for Paris on September 16, I emailed Ste. Chapelle for tickets to a performance. The reply was affirmative; my tickets would be held for me.
As directed, I arrived for the concert about 45 minutes before hand and found my tickets ready and waiting. All I had to do was pay and go in. We heard the Violins of France, under the leadership of Frederic Moreau, playing Mozart's A Little Night Music, and Vivaldi's The Four Seasons. Young Mr. Moreau is some kind of player as are the other young musicians in the group. It was an incredibly good performance in a beautiful setting. So, if you want to go, follow the directions that you will find on the website, and I think you will be successful.
One note. We went to Ste. Chapelle during the day. The entrance is on street level where you have to go through a metal detector security check. For the concert in the evening, we entered by going up the steps of the Palace of Justice to the second floor. There was a sign out in front directing us to the right place.
If you are a classical music fan, I recommend that you take in a concert at Ste. Chapelle. I hope you find it as wonderful as I did. I am not usually moved to an excess of superlatives, but this concert was an incredible experience. The combination of great music expertly played and an almost mystical setting in an ancient stained glass church went beyond simple musical enjoyment and reached the level of being transcendent.

just went to Vivaldi/Mozart concert at Ste-Chapelle on Monday 10/11. This response may be too late for Bob, but in case anyone else is going... just go over to the Virgin Megastore on Champs Elysee, about 2-3 blocks from the Arch, and go down to the lower level. There are racks of brochures describing concerts all over Paris, at Ste-Chapelle and many other churches. Then go to the counter and purchase your tickets. I got seats the same day and there were plenty of spots left. Also, they were having a "2 for 1" special, made it that much greater (price was about $16. US for one ticket).

Thanks for the info Alice. That twofer deal sounds like a winner. I just hope that it is still in effect when I return to Paris. So, no, your info is not too late. I am making plans now to go back.

By the way, sounds like you heard the same music that I did: the Violins of France. Was Mr. Moreau the soloist in the Vivaldi? I hope he was in as good form for you as we was the night I went. I walked out wondering why I had never heard of him.
I guess it is because he has not been to the USA yet. But I thought he was incredible, as was the whole group.
Did they do that pizzacato encore where Moreau pretends that he hurt his finger?
It was hilarious!! After the Vivaldi I was in something of a different world and needed something to restore me to the reality of a rainy Paris evening.
