I would return the slacks. If they bother you at home, they will make you CRAZY stuck traveling with them.
|
Vorkuta, I am so glad your tailor can take care of them. Most likely they will be perfect now!
As for feelings being hurt from some posters..there seem to be a few posters who really should get over themselves and we will just have to ignore them and rely on Fodors to delete them. Have a good trip! My daughter was in Belgium and France this past March and she is planning on going back in the Spring..Enjoy the chocolate :D |
topping...Scarlett, I have done that oops! it's inside-out trick myself. After I finished chckling over your post I vowed to remember to check - especially now that I am in the midst of the big fall-winter clothing changeover, and usually do some restorative mending on my favorite things. I am not a creative one, just a pretty good mender, with a nice undetectable stitch and patience.
Vorkuta - let us know how you made out when you return! Hope the tailor's hand made them great travel pieces. |
Vorkuta
There'a product called BodyGlide, that I (and a lot of runners) use on long runs - it is great at preventing chafing - it's made a huge difference for me. Most specialty runing stores carry it. I find it very light and non greasy. |
ninasdream, thank you for making me not quite as pathetic in the sewing department LOL
