airbnb in Amsterdamn
We traveled with another couple so an Airbnb suited us. Otherwise, you probably will be in a tiny room and not for $150 in Amsterdam.
We spent one night in a hotel, Max Brown I believe. Perfect location, nice but compact. |
Whether right or wrong, I seriously doubt if any city is interested in developing low cost/budget accommodation for tourists. Tourists are overwhelming many places in Europe and some cities are even retaliating. Budget tourists spend less and therefore contribute less to the economy. As I understand it even those tourists with healthy budgets are being seen as a negative. |
Several posts have been deleted that were an ongoing argument about the illegality of short term rentals and not responsive to the OP. Everyone has made their points.
