Help! How do i find cheap tickets to Italy

I was having the same problem with prices from boston to rome in early october and at the suggestion of this board I used an airline consolidator and got tickets on lufthansa for 650.<BR>Thats better than the 890 I had been looking at. The only problem is there is no tranfering or changing the flights and a 250 cancelation fee. So you pretty much have to be commited to going. With me nothing is stopping me from going. I used eurotrip.com.

Rex-- I agree with the initial reaction of resisting a pre-packaged deal, but Kevin is looking in late May to get to Rome for specific dates in June; not an easy proposition. At $1350/pp, air, hotel at three Italian cities, connections included: NOT a bad deal for a June vacation.

To Maira:<BR><BR>The follow-up post really was from me - - acknowledging that I was a big bozo with the math (thinking that the package contained two nights hotel, not six). And I wanted to make clear that your advice has merit - - whether I would follow it personally or not.<BR>
