HELP!! Greece Ferry in October

I'll be in Greece from 10/18 to 10/28 and planning on visiting Mykonos, Santorini and possibly Naxos depending on the ferry schedule. Here's my tentative schedule.

10/18 arrive Athens at 2:00 PM
10/19 Athens to Mykonos
10/23 Mykonos to Santorini
10/26 Santorini to Athens (Aegean Airline)
10/28 depart in Athens at 2:55 PM

I already bought the flight ticket from Santorini to Athens however I was unable to buy the ferry tickets due to the unavailability of the schedule. I have not yet booked the hotels since I'm not sure where I will be on what days so my itinerary is pretty flexible except that I have to go from Santorini to Athens on 10/26 since the flight ticket might not be returnable.

I contacted Danae and they suggested me going from Mykonos to Syros (10/23) and from Syros to Santorini. However, the ferry arrives Santorini (10/24) at 2:00 AM. Will I be able to find transportation to go to the hotel at that time and check in?

Are there any alternatives that I can travel from Mykonos to Santorini during that period of time, preferably Naxos? Please HELP!

It appears that the ferry companies are cutting back their mid-late October timetables. I suspect that your only ferry option will remain the connection through Syros that Danae suggested, so if you don't want to return to Athens for the ferry to Santorini (or for a plane) you probably should contact some hotels on Santorini ASAP and go with one that will work with your arrival time, pick you up at 2 AM and check you in. Some will agree to do this or at least arrange for a taxi to pick you up. With the hotels beginning to close their doors by mid-October I think your best chance for success would be with a hotel in Fira, which would have the most to choose from in the off-season.

Aegean Airlines is offering connecting flights from Mykonos to Santorini via Athens for €170 on Oct 23rd. The first flight leaves Mykonos at 1:05pm, and the connecting flight arrives on Santorini at 6:30pm.
If that price is too steep, the Syros ferry connection is your best option.

Another alternative, since you were thinking of Naxos anyway, is to skip Mykonos and go there instead. There are daily ferry connections leaving Naxos at 12:55pm, arriving on Santorini at 3:00pm.

Thanks everyone for the help!! I searched the ferry schedule online again and found out that there's connecting ferry between Syros, Naxos, and Santorini. See below for my tentative itinerary.

10/18 arrive Athens at 2:00 PM
10/18 Athens to Mykonos 5:30-9:50 PM
10/21 Mykonos to Syros 2:15-3:30 PM
10/21 Syros to Naxos 9:25-11:35 PM
10/23 Naxos to Santorini 12:55-3:00 PM
10/26 Santorini to Athens 2:50-3:35 PM
10/28 depart Athens at 2:55PM

Here are my questions for Greece travel experts:
1) My flight lands at 2:00 PM in Athens, will I have enough time to get to Rafina port to catch the 5:30 PM Cyclades Fast Ferry? What's the easiest way to get from the airport to Rafina port?

2) I'll arrive Syros on 10/21 at 3:30 PM to catch the 9:25 PM ferry to Naxos. Is there anything I can do after I get to Syros? Is there a place where I can put my luggage?

3) Since this is my first time traveling to Greece, will you suggest this kind of itinerary or would you prefer going straight from Syros to Santorini and skipping Naxos?

What you're asking is, should you stay on Mykonos until THursday Oct 23, then go to Syros arriv by 330, then take that late boat to Santorini arriving 2 am??

I would do that if you can get a hotel to arrange a pick-up for you at 2 am. I am very fond of Naxos, but that makes 2 more ferries to take, and that gets exhausting. ENjoy the extra time on Mykonos.

I hear that the city of Syros is really lovely. Do you have a guide book? OR go on line and read up on Syros for things to see. Find a nice taverna for dinner, and a bar with nice music. then snooze on the ferry.

As for your bag, ask at the nearest travel agency by the Syros dock if they have a place to store bags for a few hours for a few Euros.
